This is my declaration that I will go fishing this summer

Getting back to my outdoor-writing roots, I created this blog for the happy times outdoors, visiting clean streams and woods unthreatened by mindless development. Those places still exist in the Ozarks and the Grand Prairie and all parts of Arkansas. We won't give up on the effort to prevent the growing Northwest Arkansas urban area from becoming an environmental wasteland. But we will promise to visit a less-threatened spot as often as possible this summer and just ENJOY. That is hard to do living next door to Aspen Ridge!
